Staying here made my weekend so enjoyable because I was only a short walk to the Royal Gunpowder Mills and the beautiful Regional Park Ballincollig, perfect spots for a leisurely stroll and taking in the scenery. it truly felt like home base while I explored all the vibrant local culture and history around me.

But for a 'modern' hotel, the TV felt like a relic from the past-bring back bunny ears! My arm got quite the workout from searching for plug sockets!

Had a blast staying here with friends! We explored Blarney Castle and CIT Blackrock Castle for some fun and learning. The pool was fantastic, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast had a good selection, and our rooms were spacious, which made for a comfortable stay.

One thing to note was that bar service could be a bit slow, which is something that could use improvement.

Dining experiences were mixed. food quality varied with some dishes coming out cold or not as ordered, and staff availability during breakfast was inconsistent. While the setting was peaceful, the noise from adjacent rooms disturbed sleep at times.
